Akita inu dogs attacked and killed my puppy again

pulce e morta nell'ultimo attacco

pulce e morta nell'ultimo attacco

artu' morto nel primo attacco degli akitaIt was around eight pm on the 24 of february, the Akita inu that once devoured my puppy two years ago, attacked and killed my one year old “pulce” who was the inseparable companion of my seven year old’ daughter.

Pulce died almost immediately leaving a sense of emptiness around, as she was deeply loved by everyone in the neighbour.

I sued the scumbags that own the Akita. The law here is not so good on terms of dog’s attacks, so it will all end up with a fine, and my nightmare to go on and on.

Be careful Akita Inu are not so good as they seem, they can turn into wild beasts… I have seen one of them as on the first attack I was trying to help one of my little dogs who was being bitten by one of them, to release her. I pounded the akita on the back as if it were the fight for my life, with a garden chair.

Moments later, the chair was destroyed on the dog’s back but he did not let it go  these my friends are the true and real stories I had to put up with by dealing with such dogs.

They are indeed the stronger dogs we know of. But without any doubts they are  the most dangerous I have seen alive.

  1. I have 3 akitas all males living together I have no issues with them but I have to say that I wouldn’t let my Akitas come to close to a small dog they could mistake it for prey and attack, if the little dog is anoying the Akita is not going to care much about the size.

I’ve had little dogs come to my boys when mi neighbors let them out off leash they don’t attack but i always tell my neighbor to be responsible and keep the dog leashed when they are outside, Akitas should not be left outside to roam they can become aggresive if you have more than one Akita you have to make sure that you are the boss and is hard to do that if you leave them outside, Akitas do better inside with some outside exersise.

  2. I agree with that it was the owner’s fault. But Akita’s are really good dog’s, the are only agressive if you don’t raise them well. I’m really sorry for your dogs, but watch the movie ”Hachiko, A Dog’s Love Story” before you say bad things about the Akita Inu ;) . I did also research to the Akita Inu and I love this dog. I get in a few weeks an Akita puppy and I can’t wait. Again, I’m really sorry for your dogs, I am sad too when a sweet (or not sweetXD) creature dies….

  3. I am sad when any creature dies needlessly but as a dog owner you do have a responsibility to look after your own dog. Puppies just like young children need to be kept out of danger. If your dogs were off lead and ran at an akita it would consider it an attack and respond accordingly, don’t let it happen.

Akitas are seriously misunderstood dogs. They are a proud large and powerful breed, but it truth they are not really any more dangerous than a badly socialised St Bernard or Airedales or indeed Fox terriers.

Entire males will look to see who they can dominate and show how important they are if let off lead. That’s why they are recommended not to be let off in public areas. Females are generally more docile but if they consider their pack threatened you’d best watch out.

I am sorry that your dogs died. Once dogs start killing there is always a chance they will do it again but 2 bad akitas does not make the complete breed bad. Just as Brian Bird the man who shot 11 people in Whitehaven yesterday doesn’t make all taxi drivers mass murders.

  4. Akitas are Dog aggressive . Its a WELL known fact that any Akita owner knows.Or should have known I guess. I had one for 12 years that never hurt a fly. I can’t blame a whole breed of dog for what 2 did. Keeping your dogs in the house could have saved them maybe. I do feel sorry for your loss however.

  5. As you have heard, it is the Akita’s owner that was the problem. However, how did they get your dogs? were they off leash? Were yours off leash? this is why dogs should be leashed.

I myself raise breed and show akitas. Not a single one that i personally know are dog aggressive. A dear friend of mine brings by her 6lb chihuahua and we’ve never had a single problem.

Akita male can indeed get to be about 130lbs, so they are indeed hard to pull off.

Again, nothing would have happened if all dogs were leashed. If in the yard, your should be unable to get into their yard, and vice versa. If both you and the akita owners had taken proper precautions, no dogs would have died. It is not only the akita owner’s fault, and it is NOT the akita dog’s fault.

    • I do not agree my friend… In fifty years of my liife I have had many dogs but this episode was the fourth (the attack on my dogs) perpetrated by those two akita.
The attacks left two dogs dead and one badly wounded. I searched through the internet and found out that those dogs were raised as hunting dogs by the japanese emperors. The hunted bears. In the beginniing of the 18th century a rabies epidemic decimated the breed after they were crossed with a breed of attack dogs who were used in legal dog fights in Japan.
I am soory to disagree with you but there is something very wrong with those two dogs and I mean it..those two dogs are blood thirsty.

  6. I’m so sorry for your pets, must be horrible! I have 2 akitas, they have been trained, and just me and my husband are allowed to stay with my dogs. This breed need attention, but in your case its the owning dog the problem. So much people don’t have the care…it’s so sad.

  7. so sad to hear this.I have akita and I do belive she could be very dangerous if I wasn`t aware of her ability.some people shouldn`t have this type of dog if they are not going to study and understand this breed.

  8. Another akita attacked six people wounding them and sending them to the hospital in Treviso Italy (ceck local newspaper: http://www.ilgazzettino.it/treviso).
Try being careful with your Akitas they are not as good as you think

  9. I’m sorry to read this. I did a lot of research on Akita Inu’s before getting one. He has been socialized with dogs of all sizes and cats since he was 8 weeks for this reason. He is now able to daycare with chihuahas and other small breeds without any aggression.

Certain people do not have any business owning dogs like Akitas (or Rottweilers, etc.) They take a lot of work to train the aggression out like that. The dogs should have been re-homed; sort of like a CPS. I’m really sorry to hear this, again.

  10. it isnt the DOGS fault, its the OWNER they shouldnt be allowed the dog.. nothing wrong with the akita themselves though.
