Twenty years ago, two weeks before he died Chet Baker played in a small club (about 50 seated) near Venice.
The Club name was “Tag”.
My friend and great Jazz photographer Paolo Gant invited me to see the show.
I must admit that I didn’t know Chet at the time I went to see him playing.
It was an unforgettable experience.
Now Paolo Gant is hosting a photo exhibit of that night. The photos are awesome.
They will be on display from May 7th trough June 12
at the club “Al Vapore” in Mestre.
