Personalmente ho apprezzato moltissimo l’Amleto, recitato in maniera impeccabile.
Mario Balotelli is crying on Instagram about the way he is being treated by the Italians and writes “Sono Mario Balotelli ho 23 anni e non ho scelto di essere italiano . MAI. In questo noi negri, come ci chiamate voi, siamo anni luce avanti. VERGOGNA non è chi può sbagliare un gol o correre di meno o di più. VERGOGNOSE SONO QUESTE COSE. Italiani veri! Vero?”
“I’m Mario Balotelli, I’m 23 years old and I choose to be Italian. I wanted it so much because I was born here and I always lived here. I strongly believed in this World Cup and I feel sad angry and deluded with myself. Yes, I could have scored maybe with Costa Rica you are right, and then? What is the problem….” He continues trying to find a reason why Italy is out of the competition. Why? Because neither balotelli or the others have really played SOCCER. They could have sent them to a GOLF tournament, or to a CRICKET game, but what I saw wasn’t ITALY, it was the worst team of the World Cup since the extintion of the dinosaurs.
He tries to blame on the colour of his skin but he is wrong again. Had he scored the goal he is profumately paid to score, he would have been hailed as a hero here in Italy, and all the kids would have bought the Tshirt with his name and number on it. Instead if they could now, they would bring the Tshirts, already bought with a great wish, back to the shop, swapping it for the Tshirt of an Ecuadorean player (they played a wonderful game of courage against France).
Nobody would have noticed you were black, or white, or yellow, or green Mario, nobody really cares about the skin’s colour anymore. It is you, who is using it as a mere excuse for a flaw that is not to be blamed only to you and will stay with you and your team members for the rest of your carreers, as you will be sent into the history trip as the worst soccer team who played in Brasil 2014. This will be your reward for looking as if you were made by wood, like a bunch of PINOCCHIOS unable to even throw a ball into the goalie’s hands in 90 minutes. Be ashamed of the money you make not about the colour of your skin.
Pope Francesco boarded a simple car instead of the Official Vatican Car and with a simple bouquet of flowers in His hand went to the Church to pray silently for about ten minutes in front of the Altar.
(by pio dal cin) Saturday March 9th 2013 7:00 Rome Time. With the Conclave Extra Hommnesfrom the Latin word “cum clavem” (with key) that comes from what happened in 1270 when the people of Viterbo locked the cardinals in the City’s Palace until they reached the election of Gregory X The process to elect the new Head of the Catholic Church will begin on Tuesday March 12th. As I stated in a previous post( A fool’s prediction), trying to make a prediction is like to be able to guess the lottery numbers. Anyone can be right or wrong.
I was brought up a Christian Catholic in a very strict way. My name comes from Padre Pio da Petrelcina whom my dad met many times when he was a “small friar” battered by the Church and confined without the permission to Celebrate the Mass as he was becoming popular among the crowds for His “miracles”.
(Mons. Albino Luciani-Pope John Paul the I with my father)I met two Popes personally in my life: Pope John Paul
the I and Pope John Paul the II. (foto copyright pio dal cin 2013) During my travelling around the World, as a photojournalist I came in touch and I studied Islam, Ebraism, Buddhism and the Religion of the Native Americans, out of my curiosity of understanding where, if there is one, lies the Truth. I must admit that I wasn’t thrilled about Pope Benedict VXI; not much for His great personality and profound culture, but for the fact that he “sported” those huge golden crosses on His neck and the “fisherman ring” was big enough to buy a couple of apartments. I kept repeating to myself that “This cannot be Sacred..” Isn’t the Church supposed to support the poverty as one of the three wows?” Native Americans have a saying “If it is Sacred it must be Free..” I like this. But how many controversial, not free items are there in the Catholic Church today? Why is the Legacy of Saint Peter obliterated by scandals of the Vatican’s funds of million of Euros? I learned that the IOR (the Vatican Bank)is the most powerful bank in the whole world. This should change, in my humble opininion. Saint Francis of Assisi was called by Jesus to “Repair the Church”“Vai Francesco, ripara la mia Chiesa” and was cited here by Benedict VXI. Times are very hard and the sex scandals, Vatican Leaks and not so transparent transactions of the Church are “rocking the Boat” like never before. Given my statement that “You have to be a Fool to make a prediction of choosing a Pope”, I will have another approach and “write a letter of plead to the Holy Spirit“, asking to pick the only one I saw that fits the description of Saint Francis of Assisi: Cardinal Sean O’Malley (read His blog)
LETTER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT: I will start with this Song to the Holy Spirit, that is sung by the Cardinals upon entering the Conclave, to ask for Divine Inspiration.
Dear Holy Spirit, I am just a grain of sand in the Universe. I understand nothing about the Laws and the Forces that balance the Great Space. Many Humans call upon Your Force and Greatness. Some call You Great Spirit, other call You Holy Spirit, other do not even believe in You. During these days the Catholic Church is called to elect the Captain of the Ship. It is been very hard for me in these past years to believe that Your Holy Presence is among those walls, given all the scandals that we heard about. It is very hard to boftenelieve that the Spirit of Jesus and of Saint Peter, and Saint Francis of Assisi is behind the gold and richness ofnen shown by those who are called to be Your servants, while there are million of people who suffer in the World. So here is my humble plea: If You are really among those walls, Shed a Great LIght upon those who are called to elect the new Pope so that His ways will be as Jesus requested of simplicity and trasparency. a real Sheperd that can show the World that Jesus is still among us human beings in the way HE taught us.
(by pio dal cin) March 6th 2013 11:00 pm (GMT+1) As I red the “Washington Post” article about the”AmericanCardinals” involved in the election of the new Pope, my attention was attracted by these few lines: “Di Nardo and O’Malley drew laughs when one reporter asked O’Malley, a member of the Capuchin order, if he would continue to wear his trademark brown robes if elected pope.
“I’ve worn this uniform for over 40 years and I presume I will wear it until I die,” he said. “I don’t expect to be elected pope, so I don’t expect to have to change.”
This was the second time I heard this today: first time on the Italian National Radio. The words “Capucine” attracted my attention, as I did not know that there was an American Cardinal who wears the “saio” (the Capucine uniform) for forty years.
Whomever tries to make a prediction about who is going to be the next Pope is a fool, as there are two ways of looking at this event that is monopolizing the attention of over Five thousand accredited journalists from all over the world:
A): The Vatican is a Earthly Power made by people like you and I, owners of the most powerful bank in the world (the IOR). As any other power on this earth the election will deliver the new Pontiff as the Head of a State (The Vatican)and any name among the 115 cardinals could be the one to take St.Peter’s Legacy.
B): As seen from a Christian Catholic point of view the “Conclave” is fueled by the Holy Spirit, therefore the Chosen will be absolutely without any possibility of mistake the “Right One”.
After this any prediction is impossible. There are no ways. Probably guessing the Lotto numbers will be a lot easier.
A FOOL PREDICTION
My name is Pio. My father Narciso named me after a Capucine Saint he had the priviledge of knowing when He was an unknown Capucine Friar healing people and making “miracles.
The Church confined him without the permission to celebrate the Holy Mass, for ten long years, on the ground that He, Himself was considered “strange”. He is now a Saint; Saint Pio or better known as “Padre Pio da Petrelcina”.
I grew up in a very Christian Catholic environment and my life was filled with its simbols from my childhood. I had the opportunity of meeting two Popes in my life: the first one was John Paul the First, Albino Luciani. More than once, as He was the Bishop of Vittorio Veneto, where I grew up, and then, during a private visit of my family to the Partiarcat of Venice, where He spent his last years before becoming Pope John Paul I.
The second Pope I met was Pope John Paul II for three times as I followed him as a young photojournalist during His vacation on the Dolomites‘ town of Lorenzago.
Does this make me an expert on Popes?
Absolutely not, just another fool trying to make a prediction.
HARD TIMES FOR THE CHURCH
Times are hard for the Catholic Church, battling amid sex scandals and the “Vatican Leaks” files.
The need is for a strong Pope, one Captain that can take the helm of the Ship and go trough one of Church’s worst hurricanes in history.
It is time for a Pope with the “saio” who can bring the Church back to the times of Saint Francis of Assisi, the poor friar who made a great revolution in the Church with His humble, poor ways.
Without a Pope that can rid the Vatican from all the “evils” represented by richness, golden crosses, money trades that cannot be tracked for million of Euros and all the sex scandals that have come up in the last few years, more than a Ship, it will look like the Titanic, headed for a Iceberg.
As a Fool prediction I will pick Cardinal O’Malley, hoping that if He gets elected He will keep wearing the “saio” for the next forty years, but this time as a Pope, making the “B” option above more credible.
I’ve used Blogger for 3 years, but now everyone tells me that WordPress is superior for SEO. After scouring many sites, I’ve been unable to find the SEO advantages to using Blogger – are there any?
1) Using the Sign Language Interpreter app, deaf or hard of hearing users who prefer sign language can invite interpreters to speak and sign for them during a Hangout. They’ll always see their interpreter at the top right of the window, and they’ll become the focus of the Hangout whenever their interpreter speaks for them. You can install the app using this link: https://plus.google.com/hangouts/_?gid=532733437531.
2) Keyboard shortcuts are also available in Hangouts — great for people who can’t or don’t want to use a mouse during the video chat. For example: muting your microphone is now as simple as Ctrl+D (PC) or Command+D (Mac), and you can start chatting with Ctrl+B (PC) or Command+B (Mac). To view the full list of keyboard shortcuts just type ‘?’ while in a Hangout, or visit this page:support.google.com/plus/bin/answer.py?answer=2752487.
Both features are rolling out gradually, so let us know what you think once you’ve taken them for a spin!
(by pio dal cin) To all the corrupted politicians out there. Listen to the voices of the People of Italy crying for some relief. Before you are a politician you are (or at least should be) a MAN.
Next time you hoover over a City with your helicopter on the way to make a multimillion euro deal, think of the person in despair because he just lost his job, or because the enterprise he started with great sacrifices is about to collapse, maybe for a bill, or a law that you voted.
Think of a mother trying to feed the children with less than a thousand euros a month, while you are getting a message on your Iphone telling you that your 90thousand euro pension has been deposited in your bank account.
Think of a young couple who will not be able to start a family because the Bank just denied them a mortgage as they only have one paycheck a month and it won’t be enough.
Think of all the money you stole, and you are stealing from the poor people. One day you are going to die too. You will die rich and perhaps you’ll regret on your death bed not having being able to be honest and it will be the moment you’ll meet your Creator, it will be the saddest moment of your life.
To achieve honesty within yourself,
To recognize who and what you are ,
Do this and you can be honest with all others
Humble yourself and recognize that
No matter how much you think you know,
You know very little of all the universe.
To learn truth,
To live with truth, and
To walk with truth,
To speak truth
To have wisdom is to know the difference between good and bad, and
To know the result of your actions
Unconditional love to know that when people are weak
They need your love the most,
That your love is given freely, and
You cannot put conditions on it
Or your love is not true
Respect others, their beliefs, and
If you cannot show respect,
You cannot expect respect to be given
To be brave is to do something right,
Even if you know it’s going to hurt you.

Last month, President Obama began his second Inaugural Address by saying, “Each time we gather to inaugurate a President we bear witness to the enduring strength of our Constitution.” President Obama’s words resonate as the anniversary of George Washington’s birthday approaches on February 22, popularly known as Presidents’ Day.
Over two centuries ago, on April 30, 1789, George Washington delivered his first Inaugural Address knowing that he had little to guide him in the job that lay ahead but the principles stated in the Constitution. The Articles of the Constitution had been debated, discussed, and agreed upon just two summers earlier by the delegates of the Constitution Convention, and were still untested. Nevertheless, Washington was a strong supporter of the Constitution and would look to it for guidance in his unprecedented role as President.
During Washington’s first year in office, Congress ordered 600 copies of the Acts of Congressto be printed and distributed to federal and state government officials. The book compiled the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and other legislation passed by the first session of Congress.
George Washington’s personal copy of the Acts of Congress contains his own handwritten notes in the margins. The notes provide insight into his crucial role in the implementation and interpretation of the Constitution and the establishment of the new American government.
Washington rarely wrote on the pages of his books, and the presence of his distinct handwriting makes the historic volume even more remarkable. Customarily, Washington preferred to take notes on a separate sheet of paper, which he would insert into a book. But in his copy of the Acts of Congress, he not only wrote directly in the margins but also drew brackets next to the passages of particular interest to him.
Only three copies of this book are known to have survived: Washington’s copy and the copies belonging to Thomas Jefferson and John Jay. After his two terms in office, Washington brought the book home to Mount Vernon. It stayed in the Washington family until 1876 and then passed through a series of collectors.
Last year, the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association secured the book at an auction, bringing it back to George Washington’s home. It is now on display at Mount Vernon in Virginia through Presidents’ Day. Beginning in March, Washington’s Acts of Congress will travel the country and visit the 13 Presidential Libraries of the National Archives through a partnership with Mount Vernon.
The nationwide tour of the Acts of Congress is also an opportunity to reflect on the presidency and to wonder what it would feel like to take on the role of Commander in Chief. We’ve put together a gallery of inaugural moments that feature holdings from the 13 Presidential Libraries.
And while there are no photos of America’s first Presidential inauguration, we’ve included pages from George Washington’s first Inaugural Address from the holdings of the National Archives, as well as Washington’s historic copy of the Acts of Congress, courtesy of the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association.
A few weeks ago, we decided that we’d take advantage of the long weekend to drive down from the Bay Area to Los Angeles to see friends and family. The notion of driving down (v. flying) was made infinitely more appealing by the thought of taking our Tesla Model S.
In the intervening time, the +The New York Times +Elon Musk kerfuffle unfolded. I must say, it gave me a moment of pause about whether taking the Tesla was actually a good idea.
But I’ve already got more than 3000 miles on the car, and have learned to trust it. So off we went. And I started out by resetting the trip odometer, staying acutely aware of my energy consumption, etc. But as the trip progressed (with another adult and two kids), we settled into the usual road trip rhythm of songs, games, and “Are we there yet? How much longer?!” It became clear that the fact that this was an electric car was a non-issue. And so I stopped any notions of meticulous logging and just had fun and stayed present. So this post is not in anyway intended as a rebuttal, filled with facts, figures, points and counterpoints. Just one happy Model S owner’s experience, on one particularly well-supported route.
We trip was ordinary in the best possible sense. We had the air-conditioner going when it was hot (toward LA), the heater on when it was cold (back here), and we drove like we like to drive. The car handled the steep grades on the path like a champ. In fact the only thing missing was the roar of an engine struggling to make it up the hill. 😉
Per the attached map below, we stopped twice, breaking the trip into thirds. This gave us an opportunity to eat, switch drivers, refresh… and of course recharge. In a gas-powered car, at least one of these stops would have been “optional” for me… maybe we’d have broken the trip into halves instead of thirds. But we’d have still stopped to eat, and additionally I’d have definitely needed at least one bio-break and stand-and-stretch. So in reality, there was a bit of a compromise. For our second stop, what might have been a 15 minute pit-stop ended up being longer (by about 40 minutes.) We put the time to good use, and it didn’t feel burdensome.
I heard a couple of NPR Marketplace correspondents last week describe this tradeoff well. The first said (I paraphrase), “It’s not always appropriate to judge a new, disruptive technology against an incumbent across every dimension. For instance, landlines almost never ‘drop calls.’ Cell phones do… a lot. By that measure alone, you’d think that cell phones would fail. But the added convenience of portability has trumped every other disadvantage.” Another Marketplace reporter said (again paraphrasing), “I’m sure when gas-powered cars were first introduced some folks were dubious… since most of the oat-feeding stations in our national transportation network did not yet support gasoline pumps. But that of course changed.” 😉
Here are some other random observations:
– One thing missing from the Supercharger stations – squeegees to clean the windshield of bugs! (+Tesla Motors help us out here!)
– This was my first experience using a Supercharger, and it’s pretty stunning how quickly it pours range back into the car.
– Lots of tumbleweeds blowing across I5. Really big ones that folks had to brake for.
– Cost of travel for four to LA and back: $0 (thanks +Tesla Motors!) versus approx. $1000 for the flights we wanted.
(by pio dal cin) February 15th 2013 10:23 pm. What a great experience today. I had the great privilege and honour to talk to Astronaut+Samantha Cristoforetti from the +European Space Agency, ESA in Germany. We had a friendly talk about her upcoming experience on November 2014 when she will be a member of the crew going into the ISS (International Space Station) where she will spend six months orbiting around the Earth. I learned many things that I did not know about the ISS and life up there. One astonishing fact for me was the speed of travelling around the Earth as it takes about one and a half hour to complete an orbit. Curious to find out? Just watch this video and find out all the details of a great mission. +Samantha Cristoforetti will be the first Italian woman to have the honour of being sent into space to the ISS. Thanks again for your time. I had a great time +pio dal cin
+Google+ hosted the third Hangout with President +Barack Obama from the +The White House . Here are the exclusive Screenshots of the event that just ended a couple of minutes ago.
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly although very important issues were adressed to the President regarding the economy, jobs, the gun control issue and other topics.
On the second part the participants asked a few lighter questions like the lady from Hawaii who asked the President +Barack Obama how living there affected his life, or the couple expecting a child about which name the president would pick for her…
A great hangout to watch and the great feeling of knowing that this way of communicating has become a familiar way for us as well as for the President of the United States of America.
Personally I would like to thank +Sarah Hill who believed in Hangouts “When Hangouts weren’t cool* and gave me the great opportunity to participate as a guest to her first LIVE Hangout from a broadcast bach in Sept 12 2011.
Two police officers were reportedly injured, and it was not known if Dorner was hit or in custody.
A police source told The Associated Press Christopher Dorner burglarized a cabin on the mountain resort area where days ago Dorner’s truck was found burning. Two people were bound inside the cabin, but one managed to escape and call authorities around 12:50 p.m. local time.
Fish and game wardens spotted a suspected stolen car near the scene and tried to stop it in Big Bear Lake. The driver, believed to have been Dorner, fled on foot, exchanging gunfire, sources told Fox News.
San Bernardino police were on the scene the county Sheriff’s Department shut down Highway 38 to create a choke point, sources told Fox News. It was unclear if Dorner was in custody.
The shootout came after a day of searching and speculation, with authorities continuing their door-to-door search at Big Bear Lake, even as sources guessed Dorner may have made it over the border and into Mexico.
Dorner, who claimed in a rambling manifesto posted online that he was booted from his job unfairly after official determined he falsely accused his partner of assaulting a suspect, is suspected of gunning down Monica Quan and her fiancé Keith Lawrence last week in Orange County. Quan’s father, Randall Quan, represented Dorner at the hearing in which he lost his job in 2009.
The 33-year-old former Navy veteran is also suspected of shooting two police officers in Riverside, Calif., killing 11-year veteran Police Officer Michael Crain.
Google Plus Daily (www.googleplusdaily.com) brings us this great update on G+ pages

Update: Google+ Pages Can Now Follow Anyone
Since the beginning of Google+ Pages, Pages have not had the ability to follow users unless they follow the Page first. Then if the user unfollowed the Page, the Page automatically unfollowed the user as well. Recently, Google+ has changed their stance here.
When Google+ Pages launched in November of 2011, one of my favorite features was actually the lack of a feature for pages. I was glad to see that pages couldn’t spam follow me like I was used to on Twitter. I had to first follow them, then they could reciprocate. Yes, it makes it a bit harder to build follower numbers, but that’s good. Pages should offer value so that they can be organically found andearn followers.
Pages Can Now Follow Any Profile
Now, the Google+ Team has changed this. Any page can now follow any profile or page. I first noticed when I saw that a Page I no longer follow (as of earlier this week) is still following me (see above picture). Then, using the +Google Plus Daily page, I found that we are now able to follow +Vic Gundotra even though he doesn’t follow us (yet!).
GPD Can Add Vic Gundotra Without Him Following Us
